Department: Pharmacy
Work Hours: Full Time Rotating Day/Evening shifts (6am-9pm) with every 3rd weekend.

Heritage Valley Health System is looking for a full time pharmacist for the inpatient pharmacy. Pharmacists are involved in both clinical and central pharmacy workflow flow.

This position exists to procure, prepare and distribute medications and maximize patient care in a safe, accountable, cost effective manner. This position is responsible to provide consultative and drug information services to the medical staff, nursing staff, and the community. This position is required to work with the management staff to continuously monitor and improve the medication use process.

Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Must have the ability to expertly communicate verbally and in writing.
Must be adaptable to change.
Must know and understand the law as it applies to hospital practices.

Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable.

Preferred
Two years of hospital experience.
