The Staff Manufacturing Scientist is responsible for responsible for leading and supporting complex multi-site consumable manufacturing and process improvement projects that deliver value to the company and meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
This position reports to the Senior Manager and is part of the Continuous Improvement team located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:- Work with internal customers to identify consumable design and process improvement opportunities that support business growth.
- Work cross-functionally to help define user requirements, conduct risk analysis, draft verification and validation test plans and reports, and execute design transfers in the medical device industry.
- Lead teams through design changes for technical processes or related equipment improvement projects.
The essential requirements of the job include:- Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related technical field with a minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree in a related field with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated skills in design control processes, including design change, risk management, design requirements, design validation & verification, and design transfer
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience working in a GMP environment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:- Working knowledge of statistics

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $115,000 - 145,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
