Our mission is to provide a reliable, efficient and intuitive development ecosystem to empower our iOS engineers to be productive. We serve hundreds of iOS engineers who build Linkedin's iOS applications. We work in all areas of the development lifecycle - from code authoring, code quality, build, and test infrastructure. Our team builds the core infrastructure, shared components, developer experience, and distributed testing infrastructure to address the challenges of scale that come with a large codebase and a large number of engineers. We improve the productivity of our engineers via projects focussed on code modularization, test/code isolation, and dependency management. We provide developers with the latest technologies by bringing the latest Apple tooling and releases to developers. We ensure that our CI pipelines and workflows are working as fast as possible through a combination of the above projects and other initiatives with LinkedIn's developer productivity team.
Responsibilities
- You will design and execute user-facing features for the native LinkedIn app on iOS devices by leveraging mobile operating system frameworks for multi-threading, persisting data, and managing user experience and graphics across multiple screen sizes.
- You will use the latest cutting edge technologies and libraries suggested by Apple for building responsive native apps for iOS.
- You will build scalable native mobile apps using LinkedIn's internal libraries.
- You will make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with speediness and quality.
- You will build a robust CI pipeline to enable build and test pipeline for iOS apps at LinkedIn.
- You will produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
- You will provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wise critical programs.
- You will identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.
- 4+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
- 4+ years programming experience in programming languages such as Objective-C, Swift, Java, C/C++, Python, etc.
Preferred Qualifications- BS and 8+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 7+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 4+ years of relevant work experience

The pay range for this role is $156,000 to $255,000 . Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
