About the Role & TeamThe Staff Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the wired network infrastructure that underpins the Disneyland Resort's industrial and operational technology environments. This includes, but is not limited to, systems such as the Energy Management System (EMS), Building Management System (BMS), Power Monitoring Control System (PMCS), central energy plants, compressed air plants, and water treatment plants. The Staff Network Engineer ensures reliable, secure connectivity for industrial controls and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support and optimize networked systems for critical resort operations.
You will report to the Senior Manager-Facilities Systems Engineering.
What You Will Do: - Architect, plan, and direct the execution of multi-system industrial network initiatives and facility-wide infrastructure upgrades.
- Establish technical direction and standards for the integration of all control and automation systems.
- Solve the most complex and critical technical challenges and lead cross-functional problem resolutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise, technical leadership, and strategic vision on network architecture.
- Mentor, inspire, and set development paths for network engineers and technical specialists.
- Represent the discipline internally and externally, building critical relationships and championing innovation across the division.
- Recognized as a technical authority with significant autonomy-operates with wide latitude.
- Provides direction and sets technical strategies impacting multiple programs or the entire organization.
- Cultivates and leverages cross-functional and external relationships, drives enterprise-wide excellence.
Required Qualifications & Skills: - At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in mission-critical OT/industrial networks.
- Demonstrated success guiding large-scale projects, setting standards, mentoring, and cross-functional influence.
- Deep technical knowledge and experience in systems integration and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications: - Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Familiarity with LEED, ISO 50001, or other energy certification frameworks.
- Experience with the operation of large multi-building campuses, facility, utilities, and controls integration.
- AVEVA Wonderware, DAS, and Historian experience.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
The hiring range for this position in California is $141,900.00-$173,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
