This is a genuinely full stack engineering role, with an opportunity to have a major impact in improving the lives of the most vulnerable Americans in all fifty states. You will participate in a variety of projects shipping software, with options to be a Tech Lead, across a python/django backend, typescript/react frontend with typescript/node lambdas, and Salesforce SFDX. You are joining at a very exciting time as we define and build the integration of Uno Health into the Findhelp Social Care Platform.

Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Contribute key efforts in building integrations from Uno Health onto the Findhelp Social Care Platform.
    • Tech Lead medium-sized projects that may be technically or organizationally complex, and intersect with multiple domains.
    • Contribute to the next generation of our benefits eligibility and enrollment engine, as we work to integrate Community Engagement Requirements into the platform.
    • Provide quality feedback in code reviews, technical design reviews, and willing to pair on coding tasks
    • Data modeling complex seeker/navigator outreach interactions.
    • Refactor legacy code as you create new features.
    • Support go-to-market efforts by working closely with Uno Health product, sales, and customer support teams.
    • Collaborate with customer engineering teams to bring new customers online in all fifty states.
    • Develop expertise in benefits programs, state agencies administering them, and USDS teams working to improve them.

Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of full stack application development
    • Proficiency in Python and modern backend development frameworks such as Django, Django-Rest-Framework, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
    • Proficiency in Typescript/Javascript and modern frontend frameworks including React, React-Query, Axios, and Redux.
    • Bonus if you have hands-on experience with Typescript/Node based backends, including AWS Lambda runtimes.
    • Salesforce experience is not required, but it's a plus.
    • Experience writing technical designs and breaking down complex features
    • Experience with modern security, development methodologies, and platforms, like Gitlab/Github, and containerized workloads, OWASP, etc.
    • Experience with both zero-to-one new product features, as well scaling and refining existing products.
    • Familiarity with regulated domains such as healthcare or social care is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams outside of traditional technology roles.
    • Committed to continuous learning, with the ability to stay current on contemporary development technologies and assess new tools, libraries, and approaches as business needs evolve.
