Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of work experience, varying by educational background.
• 3+ years in Systems or Electronics Simulations.
• Knowledge of Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, or Engines.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, C++, and C#.
• Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement predictive maintenance algorithms for better reliability and cost reduction.
• Develop optimization algorithms for design enhancement.
• Create controls using Simulink and generate deployable C++ code.
• Implement feedback and model predictive control algorithms for performance and robustness.
• Develop models of Engines, Alternators, Transformers, and Alternative Energy Sources for system simulations.
• Validate new algorithms in both simulated and hardware environments.
• Integrate new designs into existing code bases.
• Create and deploy internal PC-based tools to assist internal design efforts.
