Staff Education SupervisorFriendly Home is seeking an experienced and engaging
Staff Education Supervisor to support the continued growth, confidence, and excellence of staff across the facility. This role is ideal for a nurse educator who is energized by teaching, mentoring, and developing staff while promoting high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive senior living environment.
As Staff Education Supervisor, you will play an important role in strengthening the employee experience from orientation through ongoing professional development. You will partner with nursing and interdisciplinary leaders to design practical education, reinforce best practices, support quality initiatives, and ensure team members have the knowledge and resources needed to provide exceptional service and compassionate care to our Members.
What You'll Do- Develop and deliver engaging education programs for nursing and facility staff.
- Lead orientation and ongoing training focused on clinical practices, procedures, technology, regulatory expectations, and quality outcomes.
- Identify knowledge gaps and create targeted learning strategies to strengthen staff performance.
- Provide clinical expertise, coaching, mentorship, and support to nursing team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders to ensure education is practical, current, and aligned with best practices.
- Support quality audits, required in-service tracking, CNA education hours, and documentation of staff training.
- Help cultivate a positive, collaborative, and learning-focused environment that reflects Friendly Home's Culture of Excellence.
What We're Looking For- Graduate of an approved school of nursing; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current New York State nursing license and registration required.
- Three to five years of progressive nursing experience.
- Experience or interest in teaching, staff development, geriatric nursing, and clinical education.
- Strong communication, organization, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- A service-oriented approach and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
