OverviewWe are seeking a Staff Attorney to join our Legal team. This position will support a broad range of legal matters, including litigation management, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and business operations support. The Staff Attorney will serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, helping identify legal risks and provide practical business-focused solutions across a dynamic, multi-state organization.
Qualifications- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3-6 years of legal experience with exposure to litigation, dispute resolution, contract review, or corporate legal matters.
- Experience managing legal matters and working with outside counsel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess legal risk and provide practical business-oriented recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior in-house counsel experience preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-site organizations, healthcare organizations, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
Responsibilities- Provide legal guidance on a variety of business, operational, and compliance-related matters.
- Manage litigation matters and coordinate strategy with outside counsel.
- Support internal investigations and assist with dispute resolution efforts.
- Advise business leaders on legal risks and recommend practical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare analyses related to emerging legal and regulatory developments.
- Support compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop policies, procedures, and best practices that minimize legal exposure.
- Monitor ongoing legal matters and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
