Full Job Description
The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS) in Edmonton, Alberta is inviting applications for a Staff Anesthesiologist position based primarily at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

The successful applicant to the Royal Alexandra Hospital will have demonstrated proficiency at obstetric, thoracic, and trauma anesthesiology.

The successful applicants will be expected to apply for an Academic Clinical Appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and be willing to be involved in resident teaching and clinical research facilitation.

The successful applicants shall have / be eligible for certification in Anesthesiology with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Additional training in regional, acute pain, liver transplant, vascular, and cardiac anaesthesiology will be considered an asset.
