Staff Analyst to join the Finance & Strategy team. This role serves as a critical link between high-level strategic vision and tactical operational delivery. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations Analytics and Reporting, you will move beyond functional support to
own the analytical frameworks for our most significant business drivers.
The ideal candidate has mastered the "how" of insurance analytics and is ready to take ownership of the "what next." You will not only provide insights to stakeholders across the organization but will also proactively identify where our data strategy needs to evolve to meet company objectives. In this role, you would serve as the lead solution designer for the team by leveraging deep technical expertise to design durable, cross-functional reporting & analysis.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytical Framework & Strategy- Bridge the Gap: Translate broad leadership objectives into structured analytical projects with defined milestones, moving from "answering questions" to "building solutions."
- Process Architecture: Design and standardize reporting methodologies across the team to ensure that metrics key business health metrics are calculated with unified logic across all operational functions.
- Business Case Leadership: Lead the development of complex business cases for new initiatives, integrating ROI analysis with downstream data impact assessments.
Cross-Functional Influence- Stakeholder Diplomacy: Serve as the primary analytical consultant for department heads, helping them prioritize their upcoming initiatives as well as new ideas based on data-driven potential.
- Storytelling: Translate complex data into compelling, executive-ready narratives that don't just report numbers, but actively lead stakeholders to critical insights and balanced decisions regarding growth and profitability.
Requirements- Experience: Several years of experience in personal lines insurance analytics (Homeowners and Auto highly preferred).
- Technical Mastery: Expert-level SQL and experience / interest in building predictive models and leveraging AI
- Visualization: Advanced LookerStudio expertise, specifically in building executive reporting suites that roll up operational data into strategic dashboards.
- Cross-Functional Synthesis: Deep mastery of insurance operational functions (auto and or property claims is a plus) with the strategic confidence to act as a "connective tissue" for leadership-leveraging a macro-view of the data to identify dependencies and opportunities across the entire value chain.
- Autonomy: Proven ability to manage "vague" projects, creating structure where none exists without needing daily direction.
- Education/Designation: Degree in a quantitative field; CPCU or progress toward actuarial exams is a strong plus.

budgeted salary range for this position. Actual compensation for this position will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and skills. $129,280-$153,250 USD
The full salary range shows the min to max salary range for this position. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and determined based on various factors including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
Full Salary Range
$121,200-$202,000 USD
