Responsibilities

  • Process intercompany transfers and review credit card transactions for compliance.

Full Job Description
Candidate Summary

You'll handle day-to-day accounting tasks like reconciliations, invoices, and tax filings - keeping our financials tight as we grow. QuickBooks and NetSuite experience is a must, along with solid Excel skills.

Your Role in Action:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.


  • Complete month-end closing tasks in coordination with the Controller.


  • Process invoices and reconcile bank transactions in QuickBooks.


  • Perform monthly reconciliations for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, bank reconciliations.


  • Research and assist with setup of new museums (Business Licenses, Sales Tax, Property Tax, local and state tax requirements, etc.)


  • Reconcile Workday payroll reports and ADP payments with bank activity to ensure accuracy and compliance.


  • Manage depreciation schedules


  • Compare budgets to actuals and flag discrepancies


  • Process intercompany transfers


  • Ensure compliance with payroll and sales tax regulations; file returns as required.


  • Review company credit card transactions for policy compliance.


  • Process credit applications and support annual audit preparation.


  • Uphold internal accounting procedures and perform additional administrative tasks as needed.


What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Associate's degree in accounting or a related field, or three years of accounting experience in lieu of degree.


  • QuickBooks and NetSuite experience required.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and meet deadlines.


Physical Requirements/Demands

  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard, use a laptop and other office equipment.
