Job Title: Site Stewardship Division (SSD) Project Management Support
Location: Work shall be conducted at the Hanford Field Office and the Hanford Site in Richland, WA.
Citizenship: US citizenship required
Salary: $125,000.00 - $155,000.00 salary range (exempt). You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on relevant, work-related experience, skillset, educational background and Hanford Site experience.
AttainX, Inc. is in search of a SSD Project Management Support specialist to support our government client, the Department of Energy (DOE) at the Hanford Field Office (HFO). This role will support planning, coordination, tracking, documentation and reporting of land management activities associated with site operations, environmental compliance, land use controls and other related long-term stewardship activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with applicable requirements, schedules and program objectives. Effective execution of these activities will require program management support to coordinate schedules, deliverables, stakeholders, field activities, documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor of science degree related fields such as natural resources, environmental science and environmental management
- 10 years related experience in land management, land use planning, long-term stewardship, environmental governance and regulatory strategy and other related fields
- Ability to demonstrate working level knowledge of Hanford Site mission, land development policies, procedures and activities
- Extensive experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, PowerPoint, Excel and/or other MS Office tools
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in related fields such as natural resources, environmental science and environmental management
- Experience with stakeholder and tribal engagement and federal and state agency partnerships
- Proven experience and demonstrated capabilities in Hanford-related land management, long-term stewardship and real estate functions, including documentation, leases, strategy and improvement projects that involve Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) or other stakeholders
- Familiarity with compliance requirements relative to DOE, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Washington State Department of Health and other interface agencies involved with land management and site stewardship
- Proven ability to interface successfully with senior level management
- Ability to work with government, regulatory agencies and contractor personnel to solve problems and formulate strategies for success
- Working level knowledge of DOE program and project management practices, policies and procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of federal and state regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Job Duties:- Assist in planning and coordination of site stewardship projects, tasks and milestones.
- Support development and maintenance of project schedules, work plans, action item lists and task trackers.
- Coordinate with internal organizations, subject matter experts (SMEs), field personnel and management to support program and project execution.
- Assist in identifying schedule conflicts, resource needs and project risks, and elevate issues to management as appropriate.
- Support activities associated with land use planning, land access coordination, land status tracking, property stewardship and institutional control implementation, as assigned.
- Assist with compiling, organizing and validating land management data, maps, files and related documentation.
- Coordinate program interfaces with real property, environmental compliance, cultural/ecological resources, site planning and other organizations as needed.
- Support implementation of site stewardship program requirements, procedures and management expectations.
- Support tracking of project performance against established schedules and milestones.
- Assist in development and maintenance of performance metrics, dashboards and status indicators for management use.
- Identify potential delays or barriers to progress and communicate concerns to project leadership.
