Target Range:$80,000/Yr. - $100,000/Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%
These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This JobAnalyze files for various loan programs, assess risk factors, and determine eligibility for loans or credit products. Use good judgement and up-to-date knowledge and experience to analyze increasingly complex loans. Adhere to investor and compliance guidelines and provide support and guidance to analyst underwriters.
Responsibilities:- Review all loan documentation submitted for initial underwriting decision, conditional approvals, and clear to close.
- Evaluate business and personal financial statements, credit history, income, assets and current liabilities for ability to repay.
- Conduct careful risk analysis and exercise good judgment to determine if loans conform to applicable portfolio and investor underwriting guidelines.
- Requires proficiency and in-depth knowledge of commercial spreading and cash flow analysis.
- Review and respond to quality control items related to credit.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma, Bachelor Degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of underwriting experience, including in-depth knowledge of self- employed borrower review.
