Full Job Description
Meet the team:

You will lead collaboration projects with Dexcom's partners in the co-development of insulin delivery systems and integration of digital health ecosystems that utilize Dexcom's Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) hardware and software technologies. Excellent communication skills are required to manage and facilitate collaborations with all internal core team functional groups and external partner stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead the project integration deliverables including the development and delivery of hardware/firmware specifications and architectures, cloud application interfaces (APIs), and software development kits (SDKs).

This role requires a strong technical background and experience in product development, ideally in a regulated environment such as medical device development.

Where you come in:
  • You will lead Program Management activities associated with co-developing products with Dexcom's insulin device and digital health partners, including developing a project charter, development plan, schedule, risk management plan, DHF documentation and change control requests
  • You will drive progress as a leader/influencer and individual contributor to the program
  • You will lead internal and external cross-functional teams in activities that support partner technical integration such as developing technical specifications, user experience guidance, conducting Design Reviews and Phase Exit meetings
  • You will coordinate activities/tasks and resources across all departments including Engineering, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations
  • You will provide regular executive summaries and comprehensive program summaries that highlight program progress
  • You will be flexible and able to adapt while collaborating with internal and external individuals at all levels and backgrounds
  • You will professionally represent Dexcom while working directly with partners


What makes you successful:
  • You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry highly preferred. Relevant work experience in the following technical industries may be considered: aerospace, telecom, consumer electronics, application software and hardware development
  • You have knowledge of the product development process and phase gate Design Control process is required. Working knowledge of GMP's and ISO standards
  • You have demonstrated successful management of technical product development projects is required
  • You have extremely strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel is required
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business information clearly and effectively through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations to senior management
  • You have experience creating and conveying engineering requirements and specifications, especially software requirements and interface specifications

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience
