Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for OpenText Network Automation (HPNA) and enterprise network management platforms.
- Manage platform performance, availability, upgrades, integrations, patching, and lifecycle activities.
- Develop and execute platform roadmaps aligned with enterprise technology and automation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, infrastructure, and automation platform issues.
- Administer enterprise network configuration compliance programs and governance processes.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce network operating standards, configuration baselines, and security policies.
- Monitor and remediate configuration drift, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and compliance requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation, audit evidence, recovery procedures, and operational standards while partnering with engineering teams on policy exceptions and risk mitigation strategies.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Six or more years of experience in application development
Preferred Skills/Experience- Expertise in Enterprise Networking technologies, network operations, routing, switching, and infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience administering Network Automation and Configuration Management Platforms, includingOpenText Network Automation (HPNA) or similar solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Configuration Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Security Baselines, andGovernance Controls.
- Proficiency in Automation, Scripting, Workflow Development, and Process Optimization using modern automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with ServiceNow Configuration Compliance Module, policy management, and compliance monitoring solutions.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, Reporting, Dashboards, Operational Analytics, and Data Visualization.
- Solid understanding of IT Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Audit Controls, Evidence Collection, and Technology Governance Frameworks.
- Knowledge of Software Supply Chain Security, cybersecurity best practices, and enterprise technology risk programs.
- Experience supporting Large-Scale Enterprise Network Environments, including platform lifecyclemanagement, upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining automation solutions using Python to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service reliability.
- Ability to create scripts, workflows, and integrations that automate network administration, configuration management, compliance validation, inventory management, and reporting activities.
- Experience consuming REST APIs, processing structured data (JSON, YAML, XML), and integrating with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, OpenText Network Automation (HPNA), NetBrain, Ascender, Datadog, ThousandEyes, or similar technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation code while adhering to software development best practices, version control standards, and security requirements.
- Experience developing network automation solutions using Python.
- Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Experience working with APIs and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
- Exposure to AI-assisted automation, intent-based automation, or autonomous operations platforms such as NetBrain.
- Ability to translate business requirements into automated solutions with measurable operational outcomes.
- Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM CT to 12:00 AM CT (midnight). Candidates must be able to support this second-shift schedule on a regular basis. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs and operational priorities. Please ensure your availability aligns with these schedule expectations before applying.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
