Full Job Description
Within this broader organization, the Supply Chain Execution team owns planning, procurement, master data management, and aftermarket spare parts readiness.

We are seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Process and Systems Enablement to lead the definition and consolidation of Supply Chain Execution requirements for Planning and Procurement processes as Amazon Robotics scales core systems capabilities across ERP, PLM, Supply Chain Planning Systems, and Supplier Collaboration. This role will use data, process analysis, and stakeholder feedback to identify recurring pain points, quantify process gaps, document functional needs, write user stories, and support business cases that can be prioritized and executed through PMO and technology partner teams.

This role will help bring structure to evolving and sometimes undefined processes by aligning stakeholders on future-state Planning and Procurement workflows that can scale across teams and systems. The role will not own system architecture or system integration delivery. Instead, it will own the business-side closure of Supply Chain Execution requirements by driving alignment on process needs, decisions, validation criteria, and implementation readiness in partnership with PMO and technology partner teams.

The ideal candidate has strong supply chain execution experience, understands how ERP, PLM, supply chain planning systems, procurement, and supplier collaboration capabilities support business operations, and can translate operational needs into structured requirements, user stories, process inputs, business cases, and validation criteria.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead the definition and consolidation of Supply Chain Execution requirements for Planning and Procurement processes across ERP, PLM, Supply Chain Planning Systems, and Supplier Collaboration initiatives.

- Partner with Planning, Procurement, PMO, Product Management, and technology teams to translate operational needs into business requirements, user stories, business rules, and process inputs.

- Act as the Planning and Procurement SME in system design sessions and support UAT to validate implemented capabilities against approved requirements.

- Drive Supply Chain Execution requirements, decisions, and business readiness to closure through cross-functional coordination.

- Analyze operational data, process performance, exception trends, and stakeholder feedback to identify pain points, quantify impact, and prioritize improvements.

- Define and maintain key Planning and Procurement process metrics to support business reviews, monitor system adoption, and drive continuous improvement.

- Shape scalable future-state workflows from ambiguous or inconsistent current-state processes.

- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through process improvement, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and better system integration.

- Communicate requirements, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership and partner teams.

A day in the life

Your primary focus will be helping Planning and Procurement teams turn operational challenges into clear process and system improvements. You may spend part of the day reviewing data, process gaps, or feedback from team members to understand where work is manual, inconsistent, or difficult to scale.

You may then meet with planning, procurement, product, program, and technology partners to align on what needs to change, what decisions are required, and how the future process should work. Some days will focus on documenting requirements or user stories. Other days may involve joining design discussions for ERP, PLM, supply chain planning, or supplier collaboration tools to make sure Supply Chain Execution needs are understood and addressed.

As new capabilities move closer to launch, you may help validate that the solution works as intended, support testing, and use process metrics to monitor adoption and identify the next improvement opportunity. Beyond regular process and systems work, this role may also help identify ways to reduce repetitive manual work through automation, AI-enabled workflows, or better system integration.

In this role you will be focused on execution of end-to-end deployment and manage technical ambiguity around integration of workcells in fulfillment centers. On a daily basis you will collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, product managers, construction teams, and internal customers including site maintenance and operations teams, to ensure a safe, on time, high quality product is delivered to the internal customer. You will travel to your project sites, collaborate both virtually and in person, to ensure all business stakeholders are aligned on program status. You will manage the day-to-day project execution, and work on continuous improvement activities to improve deployment execution first pass yield. You will work with senior engineers and your manager to develop technical depth and begin building strategic thinking skills for future growth.

Amazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children. Benefits can vary by location, the number of regularly scheduled hours you work, length of employment, and job status such as seasonal or temporary employment. The benefits that generally apply to regular, full-time employees include:

1. Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage

2. Maternity and Parental Leave Options

3. Paid Time Off (PTO)

4. 401(k) Plan

The role will work closely with Planning, Procurement, Product Management, program teams, and technology partners.

About the team

Amazon Robotics Supply Chain owns the sourcing, planning, procurement, logistics, trade compliance, and execution capabilities that help deliver robotics solutions across Amazon's global network. Master Data Management ensures the item, supplier, sourcing, and purchasing data required to execute is accurate and scalable. Aftermarket spare parts readiness focuses on forecasting and securing the parts needed to support robotics solutions after deployment.

The team operates in a global supply chain environment with a broad supplier base, complex technologies, and close collaboration across internal teams. We are focused on improving material readiness, strengthening planning and procurement execution, improving data quality, and using better tools and metrics to support scale.
