Full Job Description
Summary: The Senior Supplier Quality Specialist leads the development and implementation of the company's programs for supplier quality and performance to ensure established requirements are met in accordance with the client's specifications while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities:

Lead the project plan efforts for supplier surveillance and expediting.
Approve and ensure accurate project budget estimates and manage project expenditures.
Lead selected shop visits to monitor and verify that equipment or materials meet established requirements and follow up on any corrective action.
Analyze existing processes, develop specific inspection instructions and assignments and implement procedures to improve supplier quality.
Develop and implement guidelines for the establishment of Inspect and Test Plan (ITP's) and inspection levels.
Develop and implement guidelines for the development of inspection specifications.
Develop and implement budget estimation process for inspection budgets.
Responsible for the accurate completion and presentation of inspection assignment packages.
Select and authorize proposed inspection resources.
Lead pre-inspection meetings with inspectors.
Validate and approve inspection logs and schedules.
Provide training and guidance to inspection resources with scheduling activities at suppliers.
