Full Job Description

Title:

Sr. Subcontracts Administrator

KBR is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to support a major project in an on-site capacity. This role performs the full range of procurement and subcontract administration activities, supporting contractors engaged in construction within the industry. Location: Port Sulphur, LA

Responsibilities include pre-award activities such as qualifying suppliers, issuing requests for proposals, and evaluating bids through contract award. Post-award duties include contract finalization and daily subcontract administration, including communications, invoicing, change management, reporting, and closeout, while maintaining subcontract files in accordance with established procedures.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working in a site-based environment and completing the assignment in accordance with KBR’s terms and conditions.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Under general supervision, participates in managing Contractors engaged in construction activities for the Energy & Chemical industry

  • Pre-award activities include qualifies potential bidders, assembles and issues Invitations To Bid thru company's Contract Management system and assists with commercial & technical bid evaluations through contract award

  • Post-Award activities will include finalization and award of contracts, daily management during execution including communications, invoicing, change management, status reports and contract close out

  • If assigned, candidate must be able to complete the site assignment under the Terms and Conditions set forth by KBR

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Business Administrations, or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Subcontracts formation and administration

  • Must have strong communication and writing skills, and attention to detail
