Full Job Description
Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to work on-site at least 2 days per week at our office in Mississauga. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

About the Role:

McKesson Canada's Corporate Strategy & Business Development team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Strategy Analyst to help evaluate, shape, and execute strategic growth opportunities across the enterprise.

Reporting into Corporate Strategy & Business Development, you will partner with senior leaders to develop strategic recommendations, assess market opportunities, support business development initiatives, and contribute to enterprise-wide strategic planning. This position offers exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence decisions that support growth, innovation, and improved healthcare outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations.

What You'll Do:
  • Support enterprise and business-unit strategic initiatives, helping identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and operational improvement.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, customer insights analysis, and industry assessments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop strategic recommendations, business cases, financial analyses, and executive-level presentations.
  • Assess patient, customer, and market needs to identify opportunities across McKesson's healthcare ecosystem.
  • Support strategic planning activities, including annual planning cycles, executive reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and other corporate development opportunities.
  • Assist with due diligence and transaction activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Analyze healthcare market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
  • Lead or support cross-functional strategic projects from initial analysis through implementation planning.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders across business units and corporate functions.
  • Develop executive-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership audiences.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and strategic insights related to healthcare, pharmacy, distribution, and retail markets.


Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, healthcare, management consulting, corporate development, business development, or a related field
  • Experience developing business cases, strategic recommendations, and executive presentations.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex concepts to senior leadership audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.


Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • MBA or other advanced business degree.
  • Management consulting experience.
  • Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, pharmacy, retail healthcare, distribution, or related industries.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships, or corporate development initiatives.
  • Experience building financial models and assessing investment opportunities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, patient journeys, and healthcare stakeholders.
