What You91ll Get to Do:
Senior Technical Leader for System Integration & Test (SIT), with emphasis on96RF and96Integrated Assembly96subject97matter expertise. This role owns integration96of the system integrated assembly, including hardware, firmware and control software, across multiple environments to support96hardware deliveries, capability96releases, and customer96testing.9696The engineer defines RF and96sensor96test strategies, leads96complex96integration and troubleshooting, and serves as a key technical interface to program and customer leadership.9696
Key responsibilities96
- Systems Integration & Test technical expert on programs, leading integration, testing & troubleshooting of RF sensor systems96
- Lead system integration strategy and flow development, developing test plans and defining test environments, scenarios and objectives96
- Drives a multi-disciplinary integration team through technical hurdles and solutions, enforcing integration processes96
- Interfaces with product design teams for implementation of root cause resolutions96
- Working with Integrated Product Team leads to develop schedules, develop material for and present at technical design reviews, and assist with resource management, including engineering staff, benches, and integration assets96
Basic Qualifications96
- Bachelor97s degree in a STEM discipline with 14 years97 experience, Master97s degree with 12 years97 experience, 10 years97 experience with PhD96
- Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain Special Program Access (SAP) prior to start is required.
- Strong depth of experience with RF Hardware and test equipment96
- Strong depth of experience with MATLAB coding, test scripting, data analysis and signal processing96
- Knowledge and experience in firmware and hardware control integration planning and execution96
- Knowledge and experience integration & testing software written in C, C++.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex HW/SW integration problems96
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering concepts, including requirements analysis and verification planning and execution96
- Experience working in and leading a multi-disciplinary team environment96
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate internally and external team members96
- Some experience working with embedded systems design and implementation96
- Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD
Preferred Qualifications96
- Knowledge and experience in the development of ground, air, or sea-based radar, EW, or COMMS systems96
- Knowledge and experience in experimental Flight Test planning and execution96
- Knowledge and experience in environmental and EMI/EMC planning and execution96
- Knowledge and experience in secure processing and systems security integration planning and execution96
- Knowledge and experience in on-site test demonstrations planning and execution96
- Utilizes experience and knowledge of lab test equipment to develop and apply digital engineering tools and techniques to further the progress of digital transformation for Systems Engineering and Integration and Test.96
- Knowledge and experience with proposals, basis of estimate creation, technical volumes, etc.96
- Knowledge and experience developing scripts/code in Python/C/C++ to automate manual processes96
- Knowledge and experience with Agile principles, tools, and implementation96
This position is contingent upon transfer of active DoD Secret Clearance and approved special program access.
Primary Level Salary Range: $184,100.00 - $276,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate97s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
