Job Title: Sr. Specialist, ProcurementJob Summary: The Senior Specialist, Procurement is responsible for managing indirect procurement activities, with a primary focus on construction, plant expansion, maintenance, equipment, MRO, and other production-supporting goods and services.
This position leads sourcing, supplier selection, cost analysis, contract negotiation, and procurement execution to optimize investment efficiency and strengthen the Company's overall cost competitiveness. The role works closely with internal stakeholders, global headquarters, contractors, and suppliers to ensure procurement activities meet business requirements for quality, cost, delivery, and schedule.
Responsibilities:- Manage procurement activities for plant expansion, construction, maintenance, equipment, MRO, and other indirect materials and services.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, evaluate, and select qualified domestic and global suppliers.
- Conduct cost analysis, cost benchmarking, and cost-reduction activities to improve procurement and investment efficiency.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations for goods, services, construction, installation, and related project requirements.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and contractors regarding pricing, scope, terms, schedules, and other contractual conditions.
- Lead contract negotiation and execution for MEPA, EPC, and other major procurement agreements.
- Develop and improve contract templates, commercial terms, and procurement conditions to support project and operational requirements.
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders through completion.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing requirements and provide procurement support throughout the sourcing and purchasing process.
- Support vendor onboarding and new supplier registration activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to address invoice and payment-related issues.
- Prepare and analyze monthly purchasing history, spend, sourcing, and procurement activity reports.
- Perform rotational assignments within the Indirect Procurement function, including equipment and MRO purchasing responsibilities.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional task force teams to improve procurement competitiveness in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
- Ensure procurement activities are completed in accordance with applicable Company policies, procedures, contractual requirements, and business objectives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience, including significant experience supporting construction-related procurement such as factory construction, architectural, electrical, engineering, or similar capital projects.
- Experience with global sourcing and procurement activities involving construction contractors, suppliers, vendors, purchase orders, settlements, and contracts.
- Demonstrated experience conducting cost analysis and evaluating procurement cost structures.
- Experience negotiating commercial terms and managing supplier or contractor agreements.
- Experience supporting large-scale construction, manufacturing, or capital investment projects preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to collaborate with global headquarters, international sites, and suppliers across multiple time zones.
