Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of PCB design experience preferred.
• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and/or IPC CID certification preferred.
• Competent skills in ECAD software applications, especially Siemens EDA (Xpedition®).
• Strong understanding of PCB design technologies and layout techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and create printed circuit board layouts based on engineering inputs.
• Place and route components while meeting electrical and physical design specifications.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing and assembly requirements.
• Generate drawings and documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly.
• Rework PCB designs according to engineering changes and assist in problem-solving with the design team.
• Update drawings and documentation per engineering change requests.
• Create component ECAD library footprints and schematic symbols as needed.
