Position Overview:

Our Company's Corporate Audit and Assurance Services (MCAAS) plays a pivotal role in ensuring a strong financial control and compliance environment within our organization. MCAAS is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance services to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of our Company's risk management, control, and governance processes. Through its comprehensive audit and assurance activities, MCAAS helps the company maintain transparency, integrity, and accountability in its financial operations.

The MCAAS Innovation team, a vital component of MCAAS, is at the forefront of leveraging data and technology to support audits across the company. Our team consists of approximately 10 members strategically situated across the US, Europe, and APAC regions. We utilize our strong analytical skills, finance, compliance, and system knowledge, and tools like Power BI, UiPath, and Dataiku to generate real-time risk assessments and control insights. These insights enhance the effectiveness of our audit procedures, enabling us to identify potential risks and recommend robust control measures. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and our expertise in data analysis, we contribute to the overall success of MCAAS in maintaining a strong financial control and compliance environment.

In addition to our direct support to MCAAS, our data analytics team actively collaborates with other finance and data analytics groups across our Company and the industry. This collaboration allows us to share knowledge, leverage existing solutions, and align with industry best practices. By working closely with these teams, we foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, ensuring that our data analytics initiatives are aligned with the broader goals and objectives of the organization.

As a member of the MCAAS Innovation team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to MCAAS's mission of upholding a robust financial control and compliance environment at our Company. By utilizing your strong analytical and leadership skills and leveraging emerging technologies, you will help drive strategic initiatives, enhance risk assessment capabilities, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Your contributions will directly impact the company's ability to achieve its financial goals while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities:

  • Support audit teams with data requests from different financial, accounting, and compliance systems within the company.

  • Lead and create analytical projects and dashboards with various datasets to drive real-time risk assessments and control insights utilizing Power BI and other Microsoft applications.

  • Lead and participate in team projects working with different team members and deliver outputs within agile project management methods.

  • Develop automations to drive time savings and process efficiencies with technologies like UiPath, Dataiku, and Python/R.

  • Document technical solutions as per SDLC and guidance.

  • Collaborate with and present to other finance and data analytics groups to share common learnings and leverage existing solutions.

  • Experiment and sandbox with new systems and technology to drive new learnings and greater support capabilities.

  • Participate in the execution of financial, operational, SOX 404 and IT audits, integrated audits, and process audits, both domestic and abroad to maintain a strong internal control environment at our Company.

Position Qualifications:

Required Education:

  • BS in Finance, Business Analytics, or Computer Science preferred, but any academic curriculum focus on data analytics is accepted.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Finance, Internal Audit or Data Analytics

  • Strong data analytical skills, including transformation, modeling, analysis, and visualization.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong experience with Power BI or related business intelligence software

  • Strong experience with SAP COMET, ATLAS, FSA, BPC, Veeva and other ERP systems

  • Proficiency in Automation tools including UiPath and Power Automate

  • Proficiency in ETL tools such as Dataiku, Matillion, Databricks

  • Proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, R, Python or VBA

  • Experience in Agile project management methods and Jira tool.

  • Knowledge of advanced / predictive data analytics.

  • Knowledge of general data governance practices and compliance with SDLC.

  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrate Enterprise Leadership Skills focused on Emotional Intelligence, Execution Excellence, Ownership and Accountability, Coaching and Development, and Motivation and Inspiration.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer focused mindset, including the ability to interact effectively with client and team members.

  • Travel: Up to 10% of the time, both domestic and international.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with financial auditing, financial controls, and/or compliance.

The salary range for this role is

$117,000.00 - $184,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
