Role - Infrastructure Engineer (02)
Location: Herndon, VA.
Responsibilities
§ Working with monitoring tools, assessing and interpreting the logical and physical requirements of systems and applications in relation to hardware, software and operational needs.
§ Day to day administration and troubleshooting of highly virtualized environment with over 300 VMs.
§ Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and software packages.
§ Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
§ Proficient with Virtualization, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS,
§ Proficient in Power shell scripting for automating changes, or querying information remotely
§ Skilled at administering complex Active Directory domain environment
§ Windows OS automated deployment, administration and troubleshooting in both physical and virtual setting
§ Creating and maintaining SOP's and documentation relating to the configurations of systems.
Skills
Critical - VMware vSphere 6, 6.5 and 7, basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Moderate - Windows Server 2012, 2016, Linux 6, Ubuntu, backup solutions (Veeam)
Good to have - SAN - NetApp, Tinty
