Job Summary

The Senior Real Estate Analyst reports to the Senior Manager of Real Estate Strategy & Systems and supports the enterprise real estate team by leading the configuration, automation, training, documentation, and administration of the organization's core real estate technology systems. This role ensures alignment between business processes including site selection, project management, and project evaluation, and system capabilities; ensuring systems are configured to support business objectives, improve efficiency, user adoption, and automation. The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical problem-solver with deep platform expertise, someone who spots opportunities to reduce friction and manual work, and ensures systems reflect how the business operates, with an ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Function as primary super user by leading the configuration, automation, training, documentation, and administration of the organization's core real estate technology systems across project management, construction management, asset management, and strategy; support additional business functions including facilities, SSA, QSR, EV, and Europe.
  • Function as a subject-matter resource for the construction management platform and the real estate lifecycle management platform, supporting configuration, workflow design, and stakeholder scoping across the development-to-construction lifecycle.
  • Identify and eliminate manual, repetitive processes through automation and workflow management; requiring current-state mapping versus future-state optimization.
  • Develop and maintain integration between core real estate systems and enterprise tools; examples: Excel, Snowflake, Databricks, SSMS, Power BI, SharePoint.
  • Build and maintain API integrations, and support low-code/no-code platform extensions in alignment with IT governance standards.
  • Perform and review regular testing, auditing, archiving, data validation, and user access management to maintain accuracy, reliability, governance, and compliance with organizational requirements.
  • Provide proactive leadership in planning and delivering comprehensive training initiatives, including real estate training calls and on-site sessions.
  • Create, update, and maintain training materials and documentation; proactively drive adoption of system enhancements; manage change communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implementation.
  • Lead and contribute to analytical enhancements through special projects in partnership with enterprise real estate, data & analytics, reporting, and other key business functions.
  • Actively participate in evaluating, researching, and implementing enhancements to current and potential real estate technology systems.
  • Perform additional tasks, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Major in Real Estate, Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management, system administration, or a similar role supporting large-scale operations.
  • Proficient in data analysis using various tools and statistical packages.
  • Technical aptitude to learn and understand the latest tools and use them to make recommendations and understand large and complex datasets.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and continually prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as new projects are assigned.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with construction management platforms (ex. Procore, Projectmates) strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience with Analytics, Real Estate, or Finance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including knowledge of lookups, pivot tables, and power queries.
  • Experience working with SharePoint as a user and site administrator.
  • Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, GIS Systems (KLI), Smartsheet and Google Earth.
  • Experience with additional real estate or other low-code/no-code lifecycle platforms.
  • 2+ years working with a national or international retailer.
