Full Job Description
STV is seeking a Sr Construction Inspector to join our firm in out Hartford CT office.

Responsibilities of the position typically include:
  • Inspecting Railroad Infrastructure: Examining tracks, switches, signals, bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure components to ensure they meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting Safety Inspections: Verifying compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards by inspecting trains, locomotives, and rolling stock.
  • Monitoring Compliance: Reviewing records, documents, and reports to ensure adherence to rules and guidelines related to track maintenance, equipment inspections, crew qualifications, and operational procedures.
  • Investigating Accidents and Incidents: In the event of accidents, derailments, or other incidents, conducting investigations to determine the cause, identify contributing factors, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Preparing and Maintaining Reports for compliance with public highway railroad grade crossing facilities ad state funded railroad improvements


Compensation Range:
$97,980.00 - $111,341.00
