Job DescriptionSr. Quality EngineerRESPONSIBLITIES:- Work with customers to obtain all necessary APQP documents including Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plans
- Support internal as well as third party ISO: 9001:2015 Quality Management System audits and ISO-IATF 16949
- Serve as main contact for external customer concerns. Monitor, respond, initiate corrective actions, follow up, close and track customer complaints
- Drive implementation of all quality policies and required operating procedures and work instructions
- Schedule and conduct meetings with customers, suppliers, and in-plant personnel
- Ability to trouble shoot on the shop floor
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in Quality Engineering
- Extensive knowledge of AIAG Core Tools
- Experience creating & maintaining PFMEA and Control Plans
- Experience with reviewing and submitting PPAP to customers
- Working knowledge of APQP process
- Experience with upholding IATF16949 standards
- Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis and familiarity with tools such as 8-Discipline, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams
- Understanding of GD&T
