SUMMARY

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an experienced Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) to join our Environmental Solutions practice in Asbury Park, NJ. This role supports a well-established and growing team delivering complex site investigation and remediation projects across New Jersey and the broader Northeast.

This position is suited for a senior LSRP who is comfortable taking the lead on complex projects, working directly with clients and regulators, and making practical, defensible decisions under NJDEP oversight. You'll serve as LSRP of record where applicable, work closely with a multidisciplinary team, and stay involved in both project execution and client development.
  • Lead and manage complex site investigation and remediation programs from initiation through closure
  • Provide technical direction for remedial investigations, system design, and operation of remedial systems
  • Serve as LSRP of record on applicable New Jersey remediation projects
  • Prepare, issue, and defend Response Action Outcomes (RAOs) in accordance with NJDEP requirements
  • Advise clients on regulatory strategy, risk management, and pathway-to-closure decisions
  • Oversee the preparation and review of technical reports and regulatory submittals
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and field staff
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgeting and invoicing
  • Provide senior-level quality assurance and technical review
  • Lead client communications and regulatory interactions
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff
  • Support proposal preparation, cost estimating, and business development
  • Provide field oversight for key remediation activities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Deep expertise in NJDEP Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) and regulatory processes
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex remediation projects and regulatory pathways
  • Strong technical writing and ability to develop defensible remedial strategies
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Proven leadership, project management, and team coordination skills
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimating
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
  • An advanced degree (optional) is a plus
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training
  • Valid driver's license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Visual acuity sufficient to perform job duties, including reading printed materials and computer screens
  • Ability to perform field activities, including standing, walking, and bending
  • Occasional travel throughout the tristate area (NJ, NY, CT), with limited additional travel as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to pass a baseline physical exam and respirator fit test
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English and communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and the computer screen
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift


Compensation

Salary Range: $135,000-165,000

The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program, which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
