Senior Project Manager/Technical Project Manager

Location: Remote (designated states)

This position is fully remote and may be performed ideally from one of the following U.S. states: AL, FL, GA, IN, IL, MA, MD, MI, MS, NJ, NC, OK, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, WI.

Overview

The Project Manager owns the successful delivery of client projects from kickoff through go-live and handoff. This role requires a proactive, highly organized, and independent leader who can anticipate issues, drive execution, and hold both internal teams and clients accountable for their commitments.

The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination across clients and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and with a high level of client satisfaction.

Note: Technical experience in Physical Therapy or healthcare technology is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Ownership: Lead projects from planning through delivery, managing timelines, milestones, resources, budgets, and dependencies.
  • Client Leadership: Serve as the primary client contact, set clear expectations, manage relationships, and hold clients accountable for required decisions, resources, and deliverables.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate across Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and other teams to drive alignment and execution.
  • Proactive Risk Management: Identify risks, issues, and resource gaps early and take action to resolve them before they impact delivery.
  • Scope & Financial Management: Manage projects to the signed SOW and budget, identify scope creep, push back when necessary, and coordinate accurate Change Orders.
  • Resource Management: Ensure projects are appropriately staffed and proactively address resource or performance concerns.
  • Communication: Provide clear project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to clients and leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to project delivery processes, tools, and best practices.


Key Performance Indicators
  • On-Time Delivery: Projects delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Budget & Scope: Projects delivered within approved hours, budget, and SOW scope.
  • Client Satisfaction: Minimum of three client satisfaction scores of 9 or 10 per quarter.
  • Billable Utilization: Maintain 65%+ billable utilization.
  • Project Health: Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Accountability: Consistently drive commitments and follow-through across internal and client teams.


Qualifications
  • 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in SaaS, software implementation, or healthcare technology.
  • Healthcare or healthcare technology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand software, workflows, integrations, and technical dependencies.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take initiative without extensive direction.
  • Strong client-facing, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence and hold stakeholders accountable without direct authority.
  • Comfortable managing difficult conversations and pushing back when necessary.
  • Deep knowledge of HL7 integration and other healthcare interoperability standards
  • PMP, CSM, or similar certification is a plus.
