About this role:
The Senior Production Supervisor leads a production area or shift, managing hourly team members and team leaders to deliver the daily build plan safely and to quality standards. This role owns front-line execution, people development and continuous improvement on the floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises a production area or shift, delivering daily output, quality, safety and cost targets
- Leads, coaches and develops team leaders and hourly production associates
- Owns staffing, scheduling, attendance, training and performance management for the area
- Runs daily tiered management (SQDC boards), escalations and rapid problem-solving
- Enforces standard work, 5S, layered process audits and safety requirements (OSHA, LOTO)
- Drives continuous-improvement and kaizen activities with the team
- Partners with Materials, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve line issues
- Manages labor efficiency, scrap and adherence-to-plan for the area
- Work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime based on production needs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, including supervising hourly production teams
- 3+ years Lean Manufacturing, standard work, 5S and daily management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business or a related field
- Experience leading 40+ hourly team members
- Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt)
- Experience in assembly, sub-assembly or high-volume manufacturing
- Strong people-leadership skills, including coaching, performance and conflict management
- Experience with structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis on the floor
- Proven ability to deliver daily production targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
Other Compensation
Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
