Full Job Description
Have you ever thought about what it takes to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions so that hundreds of millions of Amazon packages are received on time by our customers? What kinds of products and systems would you build to maximize customer satisfaction? Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about protecting customers and can thrive as an individual contributor on a diverse, global team.

The Relay Trust organization in Transportation Technology and Services (TTS) constantly innovates new ways of building distributed systems running the latest in machine learning algorithms to deliver the next generation of fraud prevention solutions for our customers. We hold high standards for our solutions and the services we deliver: our systems are highly secure, highly reliable, highly available, all while functioning at massive scale and delivering industry-leading precision. Our employees are intelligent, passionate about protecting customers, and fun to work with.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a defined product area within our fraud prevention portfolio. You will analyze and identify specific instances of risk, broader risk trends, and points of customer friction, then define and deliver scalable products and solutions for prevention. You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams worldwide and within TTS to solve problems, create operational efficiencies, and deliver against high organizational standards. You will apply a breadth of tools, data sources, and analytical techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact business questions, and you will proactively present new insights in a concise and effective manner. You will work directly with partners in engineering and machine learning to develop new tools and revise risk models. You will also build the operational and business metrics for your area and use those metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

This is an individual contributor role. You will own the roadmap for your product area end to end, from problem definition through launch, and you will drive results by partnering closely with engineering, science, and business stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the product vision and roadmap for a defined risk detection and prevention area, aligning priorities with engineering, science, and business stakeholders against shared goals.
• Lead well-scoped problems that carry significant ambiguity, breaking them down into clear requirements and a deliverable plan.
• Define product requirements and success metrics for automation, machine learning, and tooling investments that improve fraud prevention accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Drive data-informed product decisions by leveraging business analysis, risk trends, and customer friction insights to prioritize the highest-impact opportunities within your area.
• Build scalable measurement frameworks and continuous monitoring products focused on carrier partner compliance and emerging risk areas.
• Partner across engineering and science teams to translate new technologies (ML models, signals, identity verification) into shipped product capabilities.
• Mentor junior product managers and business analysts, and contribute to the norms and standards of the product team.

About the team

Relay Trust is the fraud prevention and risk management product team within Amazon's Transportation Technology and Services (TTS) organization. Our mission is to protect Amazon's middle-mile transportation network, our carrier partners, and ultimately our customers from fraud, misuse, and abuse at global scale. We build products powered by machine learning, real-time signals, and data-driven decision systems that detect and prevent risk across identity verification, cargo integrity, and carrier compliance.

TTS's vision is to reinvent how customers of all sizes move goods, powered by tech, driven by science, and guided by data. Within that mission, Relay Trust operates at the intersection of product innovation and operational protection. Our systems process thousands of decisions per second, integrate signals from GPS, cameras, and device telemetry, and directly influence billions of dollars in transportation

transactions annually.

We are a cross-functional team spanning product management, engineering, applied science, and risk operations across North America and Europe. We value bold invention over incremental improvements, move fast through simple solutions, and believe constraints fuel our best work. You will collaborate with senior leadership with high visibility, and partner across 10+ organizations to ship products that make logistics safer and more efficient at planetary scale.
