This role is responsible for leading the digital product strategy and member experience for healthcare payments across web, mobile, AI-assisted channels and emerging digital platforms. The Senior Product Manager owns member-facing experiences for the Member Claims Payments capability.
The role partners closely with design, research, analytics, engineering, business, operations and payment platform teams to translate complex payment processes into simple, intuitive and trusted consumer experiences that improve engagement, digital adoption and customer satisfaction. While this role is not accountable for backend payment processing, orchestration or provider payment operations, an understanding of payment mechanics and lifecycle events is important to making informed product decisions and accurately representing payment activity to members.

Primary Responsibilities:- Own the digital member experience strategy and roadmap for healthcare payment products across web, mobile and AI-assisted experiences
- Define customer journeys, experience requirements and product priorities that make healthcare payments easier to understand, complete and manage
- Lead product discovery through customer research, journey mapping, analytics, experimentation and usability testing
- Partner with design, research and analytics teams to identify member pain points and improve usability, trust, payment completion and digital adoption
- Translate customer needs and business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritized backlogs
- Drive member-facing capabilities including checkout, payment method management, wallet experiences, payment status visibility, communications and notifications
- Partner with payment platform teams to ensure digital experiences accurately reflect eligibility, payment status, refunds and other payment lifecycle events
- Define product outcomes and success measures, then use customer behavior, feedback and performance data to guide continuous improvement
- Collaborate with AI and digital assistant teams to expand self-service capabilities and reduce avoidable member effort and support contacts
- Coordinate across multiple product teams and shared platforms to deliver consistent payment experiences while preserving the needs of distinct member populations
- Communicate roadmap priorities, customer insights, tradeoffs, risks and recommendations to leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of product management experience
- 3+ years building or managing customer-facing web, mobile or digital self-service experiences
- 3+ years of experience defining digital product strategies, roadmaps, business outcomes and success measures
- 3+ years of experience translating customer needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and roadmap priorities
- 3+ years of experience partnering with user experience design, research, analytics and technology teams to deliver digital products
- 3+ years of experience using customer insights, behavioral analytics and experimentation to drive product decisions
- 3+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology and operational stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience presenting product strategy, customer insights, tradeoffs and recommendations to leadership
- Understanding of digital payments, e-commerce, financial transactions or healthcare payments
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in healthcare, healthcare payments, financial services, financial technology or another highly regulated industry
- Experience with digital checkout, digital wallets, payment method management or payment status experiences
- Experience building conversational AI, chat, voice or other digital self-service experiences
- Experience designing customer communications, notifications and engagement experiences
- Experience with customer journey mapping, human-centered design or service design methods
- Experience supporting mobile app experiences and cross-channel customer journeys
- Experience coordinating delivery across multiple product teams or shared enterprise platforms
- Experience mentoring product managers or leading large cross-functional initiatives
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative product development practices

The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
