Job Description: Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Sr. Product Analyst, PLM 6 Shockwave Medical to join our team located in Santa Clara, CA.

Position Overview

The Sr. Product Analyst focused on Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) will work closely with Quality, Document Control and R&D (PCM) business leaders to understand requirements for the PTC Windchill implementation. You will collaborate with business users, project managers, and vendor resources to define requirements and translate them into user stories.

Essential Job Functions

  • Understand user challenges and system opportunities; translate them into detailed user stories, requirements, and defect reports. Create supporting documentation such as process flows, mockups, and system-specific functional design guidance.

  • Evaluate requests for technical feasibility and procedural compliance before accepting work into the backlog. Facilitate cross-functional discussion to gain consensus on how to proceed for unique incidents.

  • Serve as the Product Analyst (PA) by setting priorities, defining scope, and communicating the future roadmap and vision to globally distributed developers, testers, and stakeholders.

  • Partner with technical and business teams to analyze root causes, assess impact and develop holistic solutions.

  • Partner with Product and Platform Product Manager(s) to maintain a deep understanding of business processes and priorities, ensuring team delivery aligns with business value and needs.

  • Identify, manage, and address dependencies across teams while working closely with business stakeholders, and the Product Manager.

  • Act as a primary spokesperson to business users and program leadership regarding production system status, issues, and escalations.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes, enhance tools, maximize business value.

  • Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and Credo-based culture by modeling company values and valuing diverse perspectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering. or related field preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience as Product Analyst delivering technical solutions for business problems by driving alignment between business and technical partners.

  • At least 7 years of PLM domain experience, including at least 2 years supporting PLM in the medical device industry.

  • Experience in GxP systems and Computer System Validation in a regulated environment.

  • Experience mapping business processes and documenting associated requirements.

  • Experience with incorporating user feedback into backlogs.

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.

  • Experience presenting sprint outcomes and solution recommendations in an Agile environment. Experience with project and program management practices

  • Experience leading junior colleagues, vendor resources. and/or external consulting resources.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage executives, cross-functional and global stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners and empower teams to deliver results.

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, resolve problems, prioritize effectively, and maintain organization and discipline across teams during delivery.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with agility, adaptability, composure, and sound judgment under pressure.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Additional Information

  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.

    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
