s an Industrial Engineer you will plan and deliver industrialization projects, ensuring limited impact on production. You will be responsible for the facility layout, implementation of new equipment and tooling and staffing capacity planning for a high rate production facility.
This role requires an understanding of manufacturing concepts, methods & procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Planning and coordination of industrialization projects to ensure limited impact to production.
  • Participate in all New Product Introduction package prove out
  • Monitor and update manufacturing lead times in Visual
  • Optimize manufacturing process incorporating Environmental Health and Safety / Ergo improvements
  • Develop, status, and analyze Manufacturing Master Schedules in sufficient detail to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Create shop floor crew plans to ensure resources are properly allocated and utilized effectively.
  • Create shop floor level metrics to monitor schedule progress and help identify risk areas.
  • Facilitates risk assessments for new equipment.
  • Work with value stream manager and continuous improvement coordinator to streamline product flow through the value stream
  • Work with Process Engineering to generate should costs for manufacturing processes of parts
  • Measure and analyze product times against actual industry standard "should cost"
  • Optimize sequence of operations and work flow
  • Completion of time studies as validation of capacity planning assumptions.
