Operating under the BIW Business Operating System (BOS), the Sr./Principal Fleet Service Project Manager ensures compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards while coordinating with other key stakeholders to meet overall milestones.
As the Onboard/Onsite Fleet Service Project Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the correction of shipboard warranty, incomplete new construction, and Government tasked emergent repairs in the areas of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical.
Serve as onboard/onsite Fleet Service representative for extended periods of time resolving daily shipboard issues and/or supervising the execution of a project/work package. When not on the ship provide office support for the onboard rider.
Be on-call 24 hours/day, 365 days/year and prepared to travel on short notice anywhere in the world providing "quick response" customer service.

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
Required/Preferred Experience
Sr. Fleet Service Engineer: 5+ years' experience required.

Candidates should have (5+) years of collective experience in Marine Engineering, USN or Commercial Fleet Lifecycle Support in the areas of maintenance and repair.
