Ashland has an exciting opportunity for aSr. Plant Supply Chain Managerto join our Ashland LLC, SpecialtyIngredientsbusiness at our Hopewell, VA facility. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Compliance function. This position willreporttotheLogisticsManager.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIESinclude,but are not limited to:

  • Key responsibilities associated with the S&OP process at the manufacturing level include maintaining a collaborative relationship with senior stakeholders.

  • Develop and manage production schedules for finished goods and sub-assemblies, ensuring alignment with demand, capacity, and business priorities.

  • Responsible for ensuringaccuracy of material consumptions,adequate inventories of rawmaterials,and executing routine cycle counting and process order reconciliation.

  • Effectively communicatewithoperations andsite supportingfunctions, including corporate partners.

  • Maintain proper inventory and production records to ensure SOX compliance.

  • Adviseleadershipand supporting staff of any issuespertaining toassignment completion.

  • Participate inplanning,production, and safetymeetings.

In order tobe qualified for this role, youmustpossessthe following:

  • Associate's degree in businessoranothertechnical field.

  • 5years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and at least 2 years in supply chain

  • Proficient in usingSAPand Inforsoftwareor equivalent.

  • Strong financial and business acumen, including exceptionalattention to detail.

  • Proven experience with cycle counting and SOX controls.

  • Working knowledgeofCoupa and Microsoft Office software systems.

  • Schedule flexibilitybeyond core hoursto execute end-of-month inventory activities.

The followingskillssets arepreferredby the business unit:

  • BS or BA degree is preferred.

  • Experience working in a union environment.

  • Experience in GMP, Food, Pharm, orCosmeticIngredient manufacturing.

  • Ability to positively connect with plant operations

  • Optimize moves to positively impact productivity and profitability

  • Makesdecisionsin a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information under tight deadlines and pressure.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively to produce measurable resultsforshort- and long-termplanning.
