Full Job Description
Position: Sr Mgr, Supply Chain MGMT - AMZ8049.19

Location: Bellevue, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Design the best supply chain network topology by leveraging optimization tool sets to find answers for critical strategic questions such as how many facilities to build, what kinds they should be, where to put them, how to expect them to operate in terms of inbound/outbound, and how to connect them in our transportation system

2. Lead the team of Supply Chain managers and planners to drive cross-functional projects working with Design, Technology, Product, Science, Finance and Operations team to design Optimal Network Topology solutions

3. Lead mid to long-term fulfillment/supply chain network planning and automate planning process to find answers for critical strategic questions around Customer experience improvement, speed enhancement and total cost reduction

4. Communicate and drive long-term strategic initiatives (3-5 years), proactively identifying gaps and opportunities in Amazon's supply chain processes by performing continuous benchmarking with other countries network.

5. Balance and prioritize multiple conflicting requirements with high attention to detail, build and manage models for supply chain forecast, variance analysis, and problem solving.

6. Present detailed data-driven business reviews to the senior management team, focused on measuring the impact and performance to create revolutionary supply chains.

7. Hire and develop the best talent from college campus, industry and internal Amazon, devote time and energy in mentoring and developing the team members.

8. Domestic and international travel up to 15% to perform role responsibilities may be required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in business administration, engineering, supply chain, operations, finance, or related discipline and 5 years of experience in job offered or in supply chain, program or project management related occupation. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in business administration, engineering, supply chain, operations, finance, or related discipline followed by 7 progressively responsible years of experience in job offered or in supply chain, program or project management related occupation.

Experience must include 2 years of experience in the following:

1. Establishing project execution framework, performance monitoring tools and complying with contract and ensuring safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of projects.

2. Working in a global supply chain, manufacturing, production/procurement, distribution, logistics or related environment/ operations.

3. Conducting qualitative/ quantitative data analysis, cross-functional coordination experience and analyzing processes and performance metrics to support business decision making to improve efficiency within forecasting, planning and logistics while maintaining scope, cost, quality, risk and schedule for projects.

The pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $173950 - $212600 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
