Full Job Description
Ensures accurate and immediate communication of emergency codes. Initiates decisions and implements conversion to back-up phone systems as appropriate. Delegates, supervises, and motivates staff to ensure safe and successful operation of main switchboards. Ensures required education and competencies are disseminated and completed. Ensures employees follow policies and processes for emergency codes and tools are updated for accurate communication. Participates in the Emergency Management committee and supports quarterly emergency code exercises. Functions as IS Coordinator, assigning system access and processing position control requests for employees. Other duties as assigned. Oversees main switchboard communications, including emergency code responses and after-hours coordination of equipment/system failures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
