Job Description:

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5:00pm

Location: AdventHealth Altamonte

  • Other duties as assigned. Allocates decision-making authority and task responsibility to appropriate leadership levels to maximize organizational and individual effectiveness.
  • Provides feedback, instructions, and developmental guidance to help staff excel.
  • Serves as a change agent, utilizing change theory to plan and implement organizational changes, support staff during transitions, and adapt leadership style to situational needs.
  • Oversees campus operations related to staffing, labor standards, and daily activities.
  • Manages float pool operations and staffing to ensure adequate coverage. Implements and sustains processes in patient care areas to support clinical teams in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Provides support to clinical teams for project implementation and deployment. Collaborates regularly to align strategies.
  • Participates in state and federal regulatory compliance readiness and ensures compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Center for Disease and Prevention (CDC), and Patient Safety regulations. Manages financial resources, educates team members on financial implications of patient care decisions, and participates in benchmarking and financial data review.

Education:
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

Work Experience:
• 2+ experience in leadership roles in a comparable health care setting [Preferred]
• 1+ experience in healthcare [Required]
• 1+ Supervisory/management experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
