Sr. Medical Science Liaison - Immunology (East)

Job Summary

Drive scientific impact and shape the future of immunology care as a strategic medical expert.
The Sr. Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Immunology (East Region) is a field-based, remote role responsible for advancing scientific engagement and education across a broad U.S. East territory, including NJ, PA, the Carolinas, Maryland, and Florida. As a trusted medical expert, you will build strong partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and healthcare organizations to support the safe and effective use of Kedrion therapies. This role requires deep scientific expertise, high-level stakeholder engagement, and frequent travel (approximately 50%) with proximity to a major airport.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with KOLs, clinicians, academic institutions, and advocacy organizations to drive scientific engagement and long-term collaboration
  • Serve as a credible scientific peer, delivering high-quality education on disease states and Kedrion therapies through compliant, non-promotional interactions
  • Exchange complex medical and clinical information with external stakeholders, supporting research conversations, product development insights, and emerging data dissemination
  • Act as a key medical resource for internal partners, supporting cross-functional teams with scientific insights, education, and field intelligence
  • Execute stakeholder engagement plans to gather actionable medical insights and identify unmet needs across patients and healthcare systems
  • Monitor and interpret scientific literature, clinical trends, and competitive intelligence to maintain expertise within immunology and related therapeutic areas
  • Support and contribute to medical strategies, including advisory boards, speaker programs, clinical initiatives, and publication planning
  • Respond to medical inquiries, including unsolicited requests, with timely, accurate, and compliant scientific information
  • Collaborate across Medical Affairs, Commercial, R&D, and other teams to align scientific insights with business priorities and product strategy
  • Deliver education and training to both external and internal audiences, including one-on-one peer engagement and group presentations
  • Represent Kedrion at scientific meetings and conferences to stay current on advancements and strengthen presence in the medical community
  • Capture and communicate field insights to inform innovation, enhance products, and support evidence generation


Qualifications
  • Advanced scientific or medical degree required (MD, PhD, PharmD preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar role within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or plasma industry
  • Clinical or research experience in immunology, neurology, or rare diseases preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%, including occasional weekends, and reside near a major airport for regional coverage
