Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Sr. Manager, Sub-Regional Lead NA West role. This position can be located in one of the following locations:

The Sr. Manager, Sub-Regional Lead provides strategical security and crisis response services to all cross-sector J&J companies in the North America West subregion.

Reporting

The Subregional Security Lead (SRL) North America West reports to the J&J Global Security Regional Security Director North America.

Key Responsibilities

The SRL is responsible for and have proven experience in following strategic responsibilities:
  • Crisis Response and Employee support:
    • Develop crisis response and employee support plans based on plausible or effective crisis scenarios
    • Core member of the country crisis management teams (CMT)
    • Support the development of the local emergency plans
    • Overall coordination of employee support actions to include but not limited to evacuations, relocations, repatriations, emergency housing, care packs, tracking and accounting.
  • To develop and implement an annual subregional security strategy in alignment with the Global Security Priorities and the NA strategy.
  • Develop and present a multi-year Strategic Masterplan for the subregion.
  • Security SPOC for local and sub-regional business leadership
  • Represent J&J GS for security related topics during government inspections and J&J audits
  • Support the travel security program to include hotel assessments, travel guidance development, transportation assessments, and security plan development for high-risk travel.
  • Conduct internal investigations (e.g. theft, workplace violence, employee misconduct).
  • Support HR and Business leadership during high-risk employee separations and rightsizing projects.
  • Site security:
    • Perform security risk and gap assessments
    • Evaluate and determine the site risk level
    • Develop and present a site risk mitigation program
    • Implement GS policies and procedures
    • Liaise with local law enforcement
    • Track performance through monthly review of J&J Global Security KPI's.
    • Represent Global Security at the global guarding services contract OMT governance level.
  • SME support for security projects:
    • Review and approval of security design plans for new sites and buildings, renovation projects, etc.
    • Ensure compliance with the J&J Global security minimum standards and technology.
    • Liaison with local business and FM for issue resolution.
  • Evaluate and present cost optimization opportunities and capital projects to business stakeholders.
  • Event security (e.g. large business meetings, VIP visits). Conduct security risk assessments for large or high-risk meetings and events to include hotels, restaurants, transportation routes, etc.
  • Executive Protection assignment coordination during Executive Leadership visits.
  • Conduct security assessments at private residences of business leaders based in high-risk areas and provide security recommendations.
  • Advise the J&J Real Estate team on the selection of new property locations.
  • Develop and maintain a security culture among the employees and contractors.
  • Coordinate regular internal Voice of the Customer (VOC) surveys to obtain feedback from key business stakeholders on the quality and satisfaction of the overall security services as well as evaluating their expectations.
  • Representing Global Security at various forums, board-level meetings, and public engagements.
  • Establish and maintain an external network consisting of law enforcement agencies, external security committees, industry peers, and key security vendors.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Criminology, Police Sciences, Security Management, or another relevant area is required. Master's Degree is desired.

Experience & Skills

Required:
  • At least 10 years in a corporate security management role, preferably in a multi-national environment.
  • A proven and successful track record in below listed domains:

Preferred:
  • Experience operating within the North America West subregion is strongly preferred.

Other:
  • ASIS Member or equivalent organization (desired); CPP - PSP certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency (oral & written) in English is required.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Up to 25% domestic or international travel is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

For Bay Area:
$142,000.00 - $244,950.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
