Job Overview
The Sr. Manager, Strategic Project Mgmt. leads complex,crossfunctionalprograms that are critical to DePuy Synthes92 growth, transformation, and operational excellence. This role providesenterprise92levelproject leadership, translating strategy into execution while ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, budget, and quality. The position is highly visible, partnering with senior leaders to drive business outcomes, standardizebest92in92classproject practices, and enable sustainable change across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple,large92scalestrategic initiatives and interdependent programs aligned to business priorities and transformationobjectives.
- Experience in construction management, capital project delivery, or facilities project leadership within regulated or industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex construction projects with multiple stakeholders and external contractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, cost controls, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Proven ability to lead safely and ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Define project scope, success metrics, timelines, resource plans, and budgets; ensure disciplined execution and benefit realization.
- Partner with senior leaders andcrossfunctionalstakeholders to align priorities, resolve risks, and remove execution barriers.
- Establish and govern project management standards, tools, and best practices to improve consistency and delivery performance.
- Provide clear,executive92levelcommunication on project status, milestones, financial health, and risks.
- Proactivelyidentifydependencies, risks, and change impacts; develop mitigation and change management plans.
- Lead and mentor project managers and team members, fostering accountability, development, and high performance.
- Ensure projectscomply withinternal governance, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- Required:Bachelor92s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Preferred: Master92s degree (MBA or equivalent)
Experience and Skills
Required:
- 89310 years of progressive experience in project and/or program management within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated success leadingenterprise92level,cross92functionalinitiatives with significant scope and impact.
- Proven leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities at senior levels.
- Expertise inproject governance, risk management, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Preferred:
- Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or a highly regulated industry.
- Experience leading transformation, integration, orlarge changeinitiatives.
- Familiarity with portfolio management and enterprise PMO environments.
- Demonstratedpeopleleadership and talent development experience.
- Advancedproficiencywith project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
- Excellent communication skills, includingexecutive92readypresentations and status reporting.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company92s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company92s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year
