Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager, Slotting Optimization is responsible for developing, executing, and continuously improving KeHE’s slotting program & strategy across the network. This role ensures strategy is executed for optimal product placement, improved labor productivity, and enhanced order quality by leveraging slotting software, operational analytics, and close partnership with DC leadership. The role will lead & develop a team of Slotting Managers and Analysts, providing direction, development, and performance accountability for all slotting strategies & execution across the network. Essential FunctionsDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and Lead the Slotting Program for Enterprise to include execution & strategy
- Develop and Mentor teams on slotting principles, best practices and drive standardization
- Leads and Manages team of Slotting Managers and Analysts providing direction to drive slotting leader standard work and slotting strategies
- Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Inventory, Engineering and Operational partners to maintain alignment with enterprise slotting standards, reporting and tools.
- Leads slotting projects, ensuring alignment across multiple facilities from discovery through execution phases
- Lead the slotting strategy for network, ensuring consistent execution and measurable improvement.
- Conduct ROI analyses for racking, layout, and process changes.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure slotting performance and labor impact.
- Utilizes slotting software, tools and SKU analysis to optimize pick path travel, replenishment, and warehouse capacity.
- Trains and mentors others in effective slotting principles and slotting software/tools.
- Stays current with industry trends and best practices in distribution and slotting best practices to proactively identify innovative solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Slotting software, Warehouse/Labor Management Systems & Digital Twin/Simulation Technology
- Proficiency in SQL, Data Mining, Data Visualization and Advanced Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Access).

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ Years in Distribution/Process Engineering, Analytics and/or Warehouse Optimization
- Minimum 4+ Years in Managing Engineering, Analytics and/or Warehouse Optimization teams
- Experience leading, developing and managing a team
- Experience managing process improvement projects for Warehouse Operations
- Proven experience improving labor productivity through slotting optimization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work performed in both office and warehouse environments.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout distribution centers for extended periods.
- Frequent use of computers, keyboards, and office equipment.
- Occasional bending, lifting, or reaching required.
- Fast-paced environment with occasional evening or weekend work.
- Travel required 25–50% across distribution centers.
