Position purpose
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for initiating, defining, and managing very high-profile projects of considerable complexity. This position sets out the strategic direction for the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring completion of projects related to quality processes, system integration, documentation, reporting, metrics, and review. The Senior Project Manager has full project life cycle ownership; leading, coordinating and completing projects from planning and design to measurement and maintenance of desired outcomes with minimal supervision, developing meaningful reports to support business activities, and communicating professionally and persuasively verbally and in writing. The Senior Project Manager regularly provides and disseminates project analysis, assignments, timelines, and progress reports to leadership as appropriate.

People Essential Functions:
- Monitor and assist other Project Managers regarding project management techniques and adherence to scope as well as company policy and procedures.
- Establishes and maintains clear and concise communication, leading and initiating problem resolution related to the project scope, identifies needs and constraints of project scope and status availability. Facilitates communication and managing stakeholder(s) expectations.
- Executes project requests from practices and department leadership. Servers as an effective liaison between multiple client groups and stakeholders across various levels of management
- Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment fostering teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Actively leads and participates in meetings and provides meaningful contributions to the drive decision-making and clearly identifies next steps.
Individual Responsibility:
- Assist in developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Assist in the annual strategic planning process for the company
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Manage the relationship with the onboarding practice and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with practice team, internal team and with third parties/vendors
- Facilitate the change management process for onboarding practices
- Identify opportunities for process improvement across the company
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or project management from an accredited university preferred.
Experience: 5-10 years of healthcare IT experience preferred.
Travel: up to 50% travel
