This position is based in Memphis, TN, supporting a major Walmart operation. The facility operates as a cross-dock, managing product sorting, trailer loading, and transportation scheduling.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Managing cross-dock operations, inventory, and workflow
- Leading strategic planning, process improvement, and problem-solving initiatives
- Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Interacting daily with the customer to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Directly managing 2Supervisors and 60+ hourly associates
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the customer and/or Facility Manager
The ideal candidate should possess the following:- 3+ years of management experience in warehousing, distribution, or transportation
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A strong work ethic and a competitive, growth-oriented mindset
