Full Job Description
Our operation is based in Arlington, TX and supports GM, playing a critical role in their inbound and outbound transportation network. This operation oversees end-to-end logistics execution, including dispatch coordination, driver management, material flow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer performance expectations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead operational performance: Oversee daily transportation and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with customer KPIs, service expectations, and company objectives.
  • Manage and develop teams: Supervise, coach, and develop front-line supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers to build a high-performing, accountable workforce.
  • Drive customer satisfaction: Serve as a key point of contact for the customer, proactively communicating performance updates, addressing escalations, and building strong relationships.
  • Optimize material flow and network efficiency: Monitor inbound and outbound freight activity, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance on-time delivery and throughput.
  • Ensure safety and compliance: Maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing company policies and DOT/OSHA regulations; lead investigations and corrective action plans when needed.
  • Strategic resource planning: Oversee labor, equipment, and scheduling strategies to maximize productivity, control costs, and meet fluctuating demand.
  • Problem resolution and escalation management: Lead resolution of complex operational challenges (delays, breakdowns, capacity issues), ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.
  • Analyze performance and drive continuous improvement: Track and evaluate KPIs, generate reports, and implement data-driven initiatives to improve service, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with warehouse, transportation, and customer teams to align priorities and improve end-to-end supply chain execution.
