About the Role
Carrier is seeking a Senior Manager, New Product Introduction to lead strategic engineering initiatives supporting residential HVAC products. This role is responsible for driving new product introductions, managing engineering changes, leading cross-functional project execution, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, New Product Introduction, you'll be responsible for:
Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from planning through implementation.
Managing engineering change processes and ensuring successful execution across manufacturing and engineering teams.
Driving Value Engineering initiatives to optimize product design and reduce product costs.
Managing multiple strategic projects simultaneously, including capital investment (CapEx) initiatives.
Coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, timelines, and business goals.
Monitoring project performance through defined metrics, deliverables, and schedules.
Supporting residential product programs and strategic business initiatives.
Preparing and presenting project updates, recommendations, and results to leadership teams.
Ensuring compliance with established product development and engineering processes.
Requirements
We are looking for experienced engineering professionals with a strong background in project leadership and product development.
As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives and cross-functional projects within a manufacturing environment.
Strong project management experience, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Experience managing engineering changes and product lifecycle activities.
Knowledge of Value Engineering and cost reduction methodologies.
Experience managing project budgets and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.
Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience in the HVAC industry.
Experience supporting residential product lines.
Knowledge of product development processes within a global manufacturing organization.
