About this role:The Senior Manager of Materials Planning leads the planning organization that ensures material availability to support the production plan. This role owns demand and supply planning, inventory strategy and ERP planning parameters, leading a team of planners and schedulers.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads the materials planning organization and the end-to-end planning process.
- Owns material availability to support the production plan and customer commitments.
- Sets inventory strategy, safety stock policy and days-of-supply targets.
- Governs ERP/MRP planning parameters, data accuracy and system discipline.
- Leads the supply side of the SIOP/S&OP process with Operations and Commercial.
- Drives supplier delivery performance and shortage-mitigation plans.
- Manages planning KPIs (material availability, inventory turns, past-due) and improvement plans.
- Builds, coaches and develops the planning team.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of materials planning or supply-chain experience, including 3+ years leading teams.
- 5+ years of experience in MRP/ERP planning and inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of MRP/ERP planning, inventory management and capacity planning.
- Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing operations
- Experience owning the supply side of a SIOP/S&OP process.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, working capital and days-of-supply.
- Strong analytical skills and experience driving supplier delivery performance.
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop a planning organization.
- APICS certification (CPIM / CSCP).
- Experience in high-growth or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Lean logistics and pull replenishment.
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
Other CompensationThis position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
