Overview & Outcomes
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager, Digital CRM to lead our digital CRM marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, execution, and analytics, with a proven track record of driving customer engagement and revenue growth.

This role will serve as the subject matter expert for the email channel and will lead the overall contact strategy, testing strategies, and drive development of new programs and initiatives. A key focus of this role will be proactive performance oversight and optimization of the Email, Push, and SMS channels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with marketing teams, internal operations teams, and vendors in a consultative manner to lead efforts such as the use of templates and centralized assets and championing efforts to improve personalization capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
• Oversee strategy, planning, and optimization of batch, trigger, and transactional campaigns across Email, Push, and SMS.
• Manage and prioritize the activities to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and customer engagement goals.
Performance Optimization & Testing
• Own KPIs for engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue impact.
• Lead A/B testing initiatives and apply insights to continuously optimize performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance to inform strategic decisions.
Strategic Leadership & Channel Integration
• Develop and execute integrated lifecycle marketing strategies across Email, Push, and SMS channels to support business objectives.
• Align cross-channel campaigns with overall marketing and business goals, ensuring consistent customer experiences.
• Identify and implement opportunities for personalization, automation, and customer journey optimization.
Audience Segmentation & Personalization
• Lead segmentation strategies to deliver relevant and targeted communications based on customer behavior and lifecycle stage.
• Drive the use of data and insights to personalize content and increase engagement across all channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Creative, Product, CRM, Analytics, and Customer Experience teams for seamless campaign execution.
• Partner with Paid Media, Social, and Web teams to deliver a unified omnichannel marketing experience.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals.
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Manage external vendor relationships and agency partners to support execution and scalability.
Reporting & Insights
• Deliver insightful reports on campaign performance and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
• Leverage analytics to identify trends and opportunities for channel growth and optimization.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, with a focus on Email, Push, and SMS channels.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.

California : [$125,000-$177,500]

Connecticut and New York: [$125,000-$162,500]

Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington: [$125,000-$150,500]

Nevada: [$117,500-$162,500]

Maryland and New Jersey: [$135,000-$162,500]

Hawaii : [$117,500 - $141,500]

This opportunity can be remote, but candidates must reside in a state in which Shutterfly is registered to do business. This includes all US states except District of Columbia, North Dakota, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming.
