Job Description: Job Overview TE Connectivity is seeking a Senior Manager for Manufacturing & Process Development Engineering - Power Cables for our Digital Data Networks business unit. The Sr. MPDE Manager will lead a team of process development and automation engineers tasked with developing assembly processes for power cable assemblies and coordinating with the manufacturing engineering team on the transition to mass production. This position will be located remotely in the US. Job Requirements Allocate and balance the work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports; mentor, develop and motivate them; help resolve people/functional issues in the team to achieve targeted performance and retain key talent. 37Lead a team of engineers who will: 37Develop power cable assembly manufacturing process in accordance with LEANPD product development. 37Drive for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods. 37Strive to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control. 37Support Product Development in the optimization designs (DFM) and piece parts for manufacturability; realizes sample tooling, product samples and prototypes. 37Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE DDN quality and production standards. 37Support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability. 37Act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface. 37Maintain communication with project management team to understand current and future strategic business needs 37Prioritize and time manage a portfolio of projects/work efforts based on criticality and business need 37Provide readouts to Director and VP level cross function management as necessary 37Work with Mexico operations team to assign resources necessary for the successful execution of new product development 37Facilitate and coordinate cross-function communication across globally matrixed organizations What your background should look like 37Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical - related majors, and 13+ years' related experience including 8+ years related, managerial-level experience in multinational manufacturing sites 37Familiar with Lean, Six Sigma. etc. industrial methods/tools 37Experience in power cable assembly industry, preferred 37Fluent in English, with good presentation skills 37Familiar with MS software 37Familiar with industrial specification (i.e. IPC 620) 37Familiar with Stamping / Plating / Molding / Assembly processes Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) COMPENSATION 37 Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $158,600 - $237,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location) 37 Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
